This is so true. I find at times my shell to be thick. I also have to watch that I do not hide in there too long. :o)

if the shell is the home and the home is where the heart is then every step of the journey is familiar in it's unfamiliarity.
one can still be in one's "shell" and assert one's truth in the universe.

the problem with humans is when we create shells we forget that the tortoise always leaves openings for head and feet..
