THE GLAMOROUS CONSTRUCTION HAND

THERE IS A TIME
WHEN ONE HAS TO DECIDE
THAT IT IS NOT THE HOUSE
THAT NEEDS SOME SORT OF REFURBISHMENT
IT IS NO USE IN CALLING IN THE OUTSIDE DECORATORS
THIS IS A D.I.Y.
OF THE INTERNAL VARIETY
STRIP AWAY THE LAYERS
OF EMOTIONAL PAINT
GET RID OF
THE COLLECTIBLE BAGGAGE
START AFRESH
AND
PLAN EXACTLY
HOW YOU WOULD LIKE IT TO TURN OUT
TAKE A CHANCE
EXPLORE THE ALTERNATIVES
LET GO OF THE FEAR
OF CHANGE
SURRENDER THE OLD
AND
EMBRACE
THE AUTHENTIC TRUTH
OF SELF

Hi Derik,
This was really good! We must keep re-inventing ourselves. It is amazing how many layers I keep digging through. Some nice some not so nice but at least I acknowledge the shadow of myself as well as the light. I guess that is the first step to real healing.

I really enjoy how you present your golden nuggets of wisdom.

A great inspirational post. The ultimate knowledge is the knowledge of the self.
"Knowing others is knowledge,
Knowing your ownself is wisdom."
Thanks Derick, for sharing your words of wisdom
God bless.

t.s.
thank you--
the ultimate objective is to cut through all the layers and find the essence.
when one can see all the events in one's life, without still having to deal with the accumulated energy of emotional baggage, then the moment is just the moment and the creative aspect of what one does with it comes down to choices.

surjit,
thank you very much for the visit--for some the process of knowing oneself happens when they are younger, others later on and quite a few never.
knowing oneself is the key ingredient in progressing past the mundane and out of mediocrity, onto infinity.
the trick is how one balances all the elements .

Hi Derick

As always, such wise, wise words with incredible imagery! Its great to find such a soul!!

I love jasmine, such a heady scent! I don't have any in my garden. I'm off to find some french lavender tomorrow for the garden bed under my kitchen window, and some basil, thyme and whatever else takes my fancy ... I love summer herbs!

Thanks for the comment on my readings
