THE PERSISTANCE IN THE MEMORY........

WHAT IS IT THAT PERSISTS IN THE MEMORIES?
THE WANTED.....
THE UNWANTED....
WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WOULD WANT TO FORGET? DO AWAY WITH!....MAKE IT DISAPPEAR!....
BURNED INTO THE MEMORY CELLS !....

REMEMBERING THE EVENT AND THEN THE EMOTIONAL ENERGY COMES FLOODING THROUGH.

THERE ARE ALWAYS THE LOOKS----THE GAZES---THE STARES--WHERE THE OTHER PARTY JUMPS TO A CONCLUSION ABOUT WHAT IT ALL MEANS.

CONSIDERING THE LAW OF AVERAGES, THERE ARE NOT MANY AROUND WHO HAVE EXPANDED ON THEIR TELEPATHIC AND CRYSTAL BALL AND MIND READING ABILITIES.
THE STATEMENT THAT THEY OFFER ABOUT A LOOK HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH IT, BUT PRESENTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SEE INSIDE THE PSYCHE OF THE PERSON THAT IS PROFFERING THE COMMENT.

OFFERING REACTIVE COMMENT OVER THE VERACITY OF THE STATEMENT IS TREATING IT AT FACE VALUE, UNLESS OF COUSE THERE IS SOME HUMOUR ATTACHED.

TO BE ABLE TO LISTEN UNREACTIVELY OPENS THE PATHWAYS TO WISDOM.

EVEN THE MOST CLOSED INDIVIDUAL OFFERS CLUES TO THE INNER WORKINGS OF THEIR PSYCHE AND THE TURMOIL, INSECURITY AND FEARS THAT MIGHT BE UNDER THE SURFACE---ALBEIT UNCONSCIOUSLY.

DISCOVERING THE ESSENCE OF SELF LEADS TO THE DISCOVERY OF THE HIDDEN ESSENCE OF OTHERS.

WHAT ARE ALL THE STICKING POINTS, THE GATES THAT WITHHOLD THE TRUE AUTHENTIC SELF?

CATCHING A FISH FOR SPORT AND RETURNING IT BACK TO THE SEA, IS EASY FOR THE PERSON THAT HAS DEVELOPED A PASSION FOR THIS AND THE ACTION OF REMOVING THE HOOK IS DONE IN A FLUID, WELL REHEARSED MOVEMENT.

EMOTIONAL BARBS ARE AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT EVENT.
WE HAVE MADE THE CHOICE, CONSCIOUSLY OR MOSTLY UNCONSCIOUSLY ABOUT HOW LARGE THE BARB IS TO BE!
WE HAVE NO PRACTICE AT REMOVING THE BARB.
IT SEEMS TO US, TO BE THIS EXTERNAL EVENT, THAT IS FORCED UPON US, TO CREATE SOME KIND OF MISERY OR ELSE WE JUST ACCEPT IT AS A PART OF LIFE AND DO NOTHING ABOUT IT.

TIME HEALS ALL WOUNDS---THAT IS MAYBE, IF ONE CHOOSES TO LET IT.
IT IS A CONSCIOUS DECISION, NOT ON THE OCCURENCE OR THE EVENT AND WHY IT HAPPENED, BUT HOW MUCH EMOTIONAL ENERGY ARE WE GOING TO INVEST IN THIS EVENT AND FOR HOW LONG.

IT IS NOT THAT YOU CAN OVERCOME THE EVENT OR CHANGE IT.
IT HAS HAPPENED FOR A REASON.
WHEN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE ESSENCE OF SELF IS SUPREME, ONE CAN WORK THROUGH THE EMOTIONAL ENERGY AND THEN DISCARD IT.

TO BE HUMAN, IS TO BE ABLE TO FEEL THE PAIN.
TO BE ABLE TO ASSIMILATE THE LESSONS THAT IT OFFERS, TAKES COURAGE PERSISTANCE AND PASSION.

A FISHERMAN IS NOT BORN EXCELLENT----IT IS A PROCESS.

LIFE HAS TO BE LIKE THE FISHERMAN.
THE MORE ONE PRACTICES ON HOW TO UNRAVEL THE EMOTIONAL MYSTERIES, THE FASTER AND BETTER ONE BECOMES AT DOING IT.

A CONSCIOUS DECISION AND INTENTION IS REQUIRED TO PUSH THE BOUNDARIES OF A KNOWN REALITY, TO THE OUTER LIMITS AND BEYOND OF THE MAGNIFICENCE, WHICH EXISTS, WHEN ONE SURRENDERS AND IS TAKEN UP IN THE UNIVERSAL FLOW AND ENERGY OF LIFE.

FROM THE DARKNESS OF THE FOETAL DEPTHS OF THE WOMB, TO OSTENSIBLY, THE LIGHT WHICH IS ILLUSORY IN IT'S FLICKERING.

IN THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE ILLUSION OF LIGHT REALITY COMES THE BATHING IN AND PEACE OF THE UNIVERSAL LIGHT.

FROM A POINT OF DEPARTURE TO A POINT OF ARRIVAL AND BACK AGAIN!

Sounds like what I call The Art Of Letting Go, which sometimes I succeed at better than others.

I think sometimes we have a need to hold on to the emotional pain. Maybe once the lesson is learned we can then set it free.

dunno. Just a thought.

wow the gap of silence is worth it derrick...what a nice read...

More often we have selective memories...

I'd rather put into ashes and let it be carried by the wind the bad ones and put it itno a still the good ones...

We view things individually with different eyes... no two person have the same eyes ...just as artists do to the very same subject...

We can only remember and from the memory we infer but we can not read minds at an instant.

Being stucked in a barb we must make a decison either... to have courage to pull the fangs of the barb deep within our skin... see our very skin bleed hence momentarily grief...

OR
manifest cowardice just as to let the barb be pegged deep within our skin but forever be in pain

like a tooth ache which we procastinate to leave it to the pliers of the dentists....

Letting go ...is hard and painful but it is better than to hold on but be resentful

Hard as it is to use a great part of our subconscious mind for it is a higher form of intelligence than the usual and true it takes a lot of trial and error ...but then again no one leads to perfection because it always yields to a perfect circle not a straight line
....

wow i made a lot... i think i am going to copy my comment and post it on my blog...

gud day coffe here and stogs

Z,
it is all about processing what happens--some things are relatively easy and others may take a lifetime.
there always has to be the intention and the courage to break the barrier.

your thoughts on on the button--but we all handle things differently.
do not ever doubt your own intuition.
thanks

piercing the veil,
thanks--when the muses shine they light up my room when i am in darkness---
if you read through some of what i have written
and i know that you have ,there are patterns of what flows through at certain times.
thanks for the input--i am sure the coffee and the marlboro is quiet welcome.
take care

Being a spiritual being choosing to exist in human form is one of the greatest privleges we have been given. I never knew I would be able to say it. It is in my most difficult times that I in fact was learning the most. Every aspect of "being" is part of the experience. The lesson.

Our current lives are just one of many great "rides" we can take on this spiritual journey.

Brilliant relation to the barb and the fisherman.

Choosing to learn from life's experiences, and learning to let go -or, unhook oneself - is, in my opinion, what separates the victims from the victors. It's a matter of accepting the responsibility of our own actions and reactions that determines our progress and emotional well being.

I've always felt it's not the action that's as important as the reaction, and even though I sometimes get caught up in life's fishing wire, there's a conscious awareness to calmly unravel the tangled lines. Then again, there has to also be the conscious choice not to bite down on the bait!

I've enjoyed the read this morning.

titania,
starlight--starbright
that about hits the nail squarley on the head.
in the realisation of this the perspective changes ---what you sow now and reap is different to if one had not had the realisation.
every experience, no matter what it is, is there for some kind of lesson or to bring one into the mainstream of awareness.
thanks for that

mmm, Derick. I think the intention and courage is where we lack most of the time. :) Thank you.

sparky,
making the right choice is an apt phrase and choosing the course of action.
if one is conscious and chews on the bait then you are able to come through it.
life is truly an amazing gift!
i hope the finger has healed and you are following through with the exercises.
take care
mille grazie

z,
they are paramount on the journey forward---without them there is no direction and nothing to hold one's attention span with the persistance and sense of urgency that this life does require to move forward.
think of the amazing glass pieces that you make ---it has all the attributes which you sometimes doubt that you have.
it is a question of bringing the right brain into harmony with the left brain and creating that balance to move yourself forward.
that was part of my journey in the conqouring of the demons and the fight between left and right.
thank you
take care

re "the persistance of the memory"
to remove the barb is easy ...a moment of pain and then the healing.....but what if the barb is attached to a responsibility...do we shirk the responsibility in favour of our own needs or do we take out the barb but accept the responsibility as part of our path and a way of giving even if we "think" we have the right reason not to.....mabey we need a third voice to know the difference....religion is made up of people who "think" they are right................Z
